It’s located 3 miles best of the city of Fresnillo, and has become internationally famous for the Santo Niño de Atocha miraculous image.
Visited by three millions people a year; is the third most important and most visited religious center in the country, after the Basilica de Guadalupe in Mexico City and the San Juan Sanctuary in San Juan de los Lagos in Jalisco.

"Napoleón Gómez Sada" Mining Museum:

It’s an institution with the social and cultural purpose of presenting for all of the people from Fresnillo as well as their visitors, an enjoyable and educational testimony of several miners generations who with their efforts and dedication contributed to the growth and development of Fresnillo.
The museum has six rooms where the following are exposed: clothing, work tools, documents, minerals and testimonies that highlight the importance of mining

"Los Jales" Ecological Park:

It’s located in the Proano Mining facilities, it’s a recreational center with over 29 acres in extension, located in sedimentation of jales, which approximately thirty years ago began to forest the zone to diminish the presence of dust, which affected the town especially in times of strong winds.
It offers the marvelous experience of kayaking, boats with pedals in the middle of the exuberant nature that complements the beautiful sight of lakes and canals that make this recreational center; you can cross the park in skates or bikes or simply walking . They also have an escalating wall to practice rappel.
All visitors will get to meet a great variety of flora and fauna from the region and will also find animals in rehabilitation like the Peru Llamas, deer, wild ducks, goose, rabbits and a great deal of aquatic birds that migrate.

Purification Church:

It’s construction began in 1750. In the middle of the XIX century, the north and south wings are added, concluding in 1934.
Its main facade is sober, in the Cornish, where two small columns are located as counterweight; an image of the Purification Virgin is kept.
In the interior, the canyon vault stands out, its mirror images represent biblical passages. The biggest altar is of a Baroque style. Four Corinthian columns make up a nest for the Candelaria Virgin.

González Echeverría Agora:

Originally built to operate as a “Mine Practical School”, dependant of the Mexico City National Mining School, operating only three years. Later it becomes the “City of children”, and nowadays it hosts the Culture House where the work and personal objects of Manuel M. Ponce, Francisco Goytia, Tomas Mendez Sosa, Daniel Peralta and Mateo Gallegos, are exhibit, besides the main library, the Fresnillo Autonomous University and the Mining Museum.
